MedTripsAI — Terms of Service

Welcome to MedTripsAI ("MedTripsAI", "we", "our", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MedTripsAI website, application, and related features (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using MedTripsAI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

1. About MedTripsAI

MedTripsAI is a medical tourism marketplace and AI-powered platform that connects patients with verified international clinics offering medical procedures. MedTripsAI does not provide clinical services, does not practice medicine, and does not make medical decisions.

The Platform currently includes:

• Patient & clinic authentication (email + verification)
• Guest/anonymous browsing
• Internationalized landing page (English, Spanish, Korean)
• Marketplace to browse clinics & procedures
• Clinic profiles, ratings, and reviews
• Booking system with clinic approval workflow
• Secure Stripe payments (Checkout)
• Travel assistance (visa, accommodation, transport)
• Patient dashboard (bookings, payments, profile)
• Clinic dashboard (procedures, doctors, bookings)
• Admin dashboard for clinic verification
• AI-enhanced search, personalization, and recommendations
• Role-based access control
• Multi-language content
• Responsive Next.js UI

MedTripsAI serves strictly as an intermediary platform and not a healthcare provider.

2. Eligibility

You must:

• Be 18 years or older
• Have the legal capacity to enter binding agreements
• Provide accurate, complete information
• Use the Platform in compliance with applicable laws

Clinics must complete verification, and approval is at MedTripsAI's discretion.

3. MedTripsAI Is Not a Medical Provider

MedTripsAI:

• Does not provide medical advice
• Does not determine your eligibility for procedures
• Does not guarantee medical outcomes
• Does not endorse specific procedures or clinics
• Does not verify clinic qualifications beyond submitted documentation

All medical decisions are between you and your chosen clinic.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your credentials confidential
• Providing truthful personal or medical information
• All activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, fraud, abuse, or safety concerns.

5. Bookings & Clinic Interactions

MedTripsAI enables users to:

• Request a procedure booking
• Receive clinic approval or rejection
• Complete payment via Stripe Checkout
• Confirm the appointment
• Receive services from the clinic
• Request travel assistance

Booking policies and procedure availability are controlled by individual clinics.

6. Payments & Refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe, not MedTripsAI.

Refund rules:

• Full refund: cancellations >48 hours before appointment
• Partial refund: cancellations 24–48 hours before
• No refund: cancellations <24 hours
• Some clinics may impose additional rules

Future features such as Stripe Connect payouts and escrow may modify payment flows.

7. Clinic Responsibilities & Third Parties

Clinics listed on MedTripsAI are independent businesses, responsible for:

• Medical decision-making
• Accuracy of their profile information
• Pricing
• Procedure quality
• Compliance with local medical regulations

MedTripsAI is not responsible for clinic actions, decisions, or outcomes.

8. Travel Support Services

MedTripsAI may provide guidance for:

• Visa
• Accommodation
• Transportation
• Travel coordination

MedTripsAI is not responsible for:

• Visa denials
• Travel cancellations
• Hotel or flight issues
• Delays, losses, or third-party errors

These are third-party services outside MedTripsAI's control.

9. User Content

You may submit reviews, messages, and profile details.

You agree not to post:

• Misleading, false, or defamatory content
• Discriminatory or harmful language
• Spam or commercial promotions
• Content violating privacy or IP rights

By submitting content, you grant MedTripsAI a worldwide, royalty-free license to use it for platform operations.

10. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Bypass booking or payment workflows
• Abuse or harass clinics or users
• Upload malicious code
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Reverse engineer the Platform
• Use automated systems (bots/scrapers) without permission

11. Platform Availability & Disclaimer

MedTripsAI uses advanced technologies including:

• PostgreSQL (Neon)
• Stripe
• Resend email services

We do not guarantee:

• uninterrupted access
• error-free operation
• translation accuracy
• availability of clinics or procedures
• stable pricing or search results

The Platform is provided "as is".

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

• MedTripsAI is not liable for medical errors, malpractice, or outcomes
• MedTripsAI is not liable for travel or third-party failures
• MedTripsAI's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the associated booking

Some jurisdictions may not allow all limitations—your rights may vary.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraud or harmful behavior
• Safety issues
• Illegal activity

You may close your account at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MedTripsAI is legally registered. Disputes may be handled through arbitration or court systems, depending on local laws.

15. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform means acceptance of any updates.
